A well-deserved holiday in Kaltenherberg (Eiffel), close to the Rur valley and Monschsau

Today we drove to our holiday destination for this year in the German Eiffel area, where we rented an apartment in the lovely village of Kaltenherberg. After the necessary shopping, we had an early dinner and went out for our first walk around the village and field. The weather was dry and pleasant, and the area looks very nice. This promises to become a relaxing week, full of walking, birdwatching and photography.
